나는 한 곳을,

한 사람을

오래보고 생각하고 마음에 두는 버릇이 있다.

다른 많은 곳을, 다른 많은 사람을

동시에 보고 만나는 일에는 그다지 흥미가 없다.

늘 가는 곳을 가고, 만나는 사람을 만나는 것이

좀 답답하게 느껴질 때가 있으나 마음을 끌지 않는 것에는

제 아무리 굉장한 보석이 박혀 있다해도

나에게는 한 갓 차가운 돌덩어리에 불과 할 뿐이다.

我有 時常去見、總是想著、

一個地方，

一個人，

並且放在心裡的習慣。

對於同時去很多地方，見很多人，

沒有太大的興趣。

去常去的地方，見常見到的人，

雖然也會有感到些許痛苦的時候，

但，就算是再怎麼樣耀眼的寶石，也不會牽動我的心，

因為對我來說，只不過是一塊冰冷的石頭。

Going to places I usually visit, meeting the people I usually meet,
