On the 27th afternoon, Gong Yoo who is currently serving his national service was very happy to meet his fans in An San Wa~Stadium for the army’s 60th anniversary celebration. Other than attending the autograph session, he also threw autographed balls to the lucky fans. After throwing the autographed balls, Gong Yoo took off his cap, showing his short hair. It will be from 1:45pm to 2:30pm, for 45 minutes.
Please be there early.

We can imagine how crowded it will be that day. Please stay in order. To enable the session to carry out smoothly and speedily, please do not make any unreasonable request or stay too long when signing autograph.

Gong Yoo, Kanta, Chun Jung Myung, Yang Dong Geun, Kim Tae Woo, Lee Eun Gyeol and Lim Yo Hwan will be participating the autograph session.

Basically this article said that Gong Yoo already started his new duty as an entertainment soldier and he was transferred to the Department of Defense Promoter Support Team at Yongsan, Seoul on the 17th together with No Yoo Min and Kim Jae Deok.

According to the Promoter Support Division, “They came to report themselves from the various units they were in. From now onwards, they will reach out together to different places to carry out their duties. We will have many different types of activities to promote National Army in full.”

Gong Yoo and the others were selected from a total of 58 people, after going through written exam as well as test on their area of specialisation. In the future, they will carry on promoting the national troops by appearing in the national defense’s TV shows and radio broadcast.

전 나름대로 “토우” 중대원들과 즐겁게 보내고 있는 것 같습니다…가기전 추석맞이 체육대회도 있는 힘껏 열심히 하는 중이
고….^^
음…그 동안 저한테 많은 일들이 있었네요…여러분의 진심어린 위로들 참 감사했습니다.
사실 아직까지도 믿을 수 없는 일이긴 하지만…시간이 지나면 따뜻하게 웃으면서 그 아이를 추억할 수 있겠죠모..
다 아시다시피 조만간 새로운 곳으로 자리를 옮길 예정입니다.
입대할때의 계획과는 달라진 것이 저도 무척 아쉽지만…이왕 힘들게 내린 결정인 만큼 저에게 좋은 일만 일어날 수 있도록
많이 기도해주세요..저 또한 후회없는 결정이 되기위해 노력하겠습니다.

All these while, myself and “Earth Rain” squad went through a joyful time…..Before I left, I was also trying my best to participate in the Squad’s Mid-Autumn Festival Sports Competiton….^^

Hmmm….. Many things happened around me during this period…..I am really thankful for the heartfelt concerns from everyone.

Honestly speaking, there are things which are still unbelievable to me. However, as time passes, I believe there should be a day which I can smile warmly, recalling that child….

As everyone is aware, according to the plan – I will be transferring to a new place very soon.

I also felt that it is a great pity that it is different from the initial plan when I was enlisted….. but since I made this choice after lots of struggles, I hope everything will be better in the future.

Please pray for me…I will also work harder so that I will not regret making this decision.

Wish everyone spend the remaining time from the consecutive holidays beneficially.

nabby: The holidays mentioned by GY is one of the most celebrated in Korea, the Chuseok festival, it is their Thanksgiving day.  During this time, people go back to their hometowns to celebrate with families.

Just a summary…Yesterday, the army had finally release the confirmation on Gong Yoo’s appointment of becoming an entertainment soldier. There are total of 4 person being appointed, and Gong Yoo is under “Actor” category. The other two categories are “Singers” and “Comedian”.

Also on another note (http://blog.sina.com.tw/gongyooptt/article.php?pbgid=56558&entryid=583366), yooko mention also that Japanese fans has gotten approval from the army to attend the Korea Ground Forces Festival 2008. Therefore, Hanblo is organising a 4 days 3 nights (13-17 Oct) tour for Japanese fans to the event. Autograph session will be at 3pm daily during that period.
